About The Author

Bernard Mensah is a Ghanaian Children's Book Author by night and a Senior Software Engineering Manager by day.

His books focus on Ghanaian and African storytelling and bringing that to the world. He has multiple upcoming books in 2024 from publishers such as Scholastic, Penguin Random House and more.

His inspiration for writing came from his two rambunctious little boys, AND his wild imagination.

Probably because he never grew up himself - Bernard sometimes feels like a little kid with a mustache!

Nowadays, you will find Bernard experimenting with an Afro and a huge beard. He’s not decided yet on which way to go!
